Giving new life to an old couch.....

I have been working on updating and organizing my studio/craft space.  There has been a lot of throwing things away and packing projects into tubs.  So refreshing to clean and regroup! My sweet friend Maria (more on her and her fabulous business coming soon) has been helping me ...and yes you can say, BLESS HER HEART!  This place was a disaster area!  

It is coming along very nicely and I will definitely share it all with you soon, but for today I wanted to give you a little sneak peak of my next project- the COUCH RECOVER. 

We have a COMFY old couch that has been with us for about 8 years.  We have it in the playroom side of my shared space and this baby needs a facelift.  I am seriously loving the hodge-podge fabric designs you are seeing in spring furniture lines so I thought I would attempt to recreate that look on my own.  

I took a little time (cough cough) and scrolled through fabric.com to see what they had to match my color inspiration:

This is a picture of tile on a bathroom wall at Magic Kingdom in Disney World.  

I fell in love with everything about it!

New look
